Introduction:
We have been selling on eBay since 1998, and have been avid collectors for many years. Since then, we have made many eBay/Internet friends. Although our collections have expanded into a variety of areas, our main interest is in timepieces and the study of Horology. The items you'll see on our web pages will show you our true love of timepieces. If you should have any questions regarding these items, please ask and we'll be happy to try and answer them! If you contact us by e-mail, please expect an average response time of 12 to 36 hours.

Feedback:
We are proud of our feedback rating, and will try our very best to please you, our customer, so that we keep a strong feedback rating. We encourage you to leave feedback once you have received your item, and we will do the same for you!

Shipping Information:
The buyer pays for shipping, handling, and insurance for the full purchase price of the item, which will be calculated according to where and how the item will be shipped. For example, the cost to ship the item in a cardboard box would be different than to ship it in a wooden crate. Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, or payment through Pay Pal will start the shipping process upon receipt. Personal checks must be held 8 business days so that they can clear first. All items are shipped within 3 to 5 business days after receipt of payment, depending on the extent of preparing the item for shipping, getting it to the shipper, etc., unless otherwise stated. If you e-mail us for a quote, please expect a 12 to 36 hour response time. The hours we are open are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern.

Domestic and International Shipping Prices:
The following are our shipping prices:

We do not ship anything without Insurance, for obvious reasons, i.e., we want to make sure that the item arrives at your location safely, and if anything should happen during the shipping process, we want to make sure that you are sufficiently covered and will be properly reimbursed. Insurance will be roughly 3.5% of the final total cost. Also, our International shipping costs do not include customs and duties fees. Our primary shipper for all cardboard boxes is the United States Postal Service (USPS). Wooden crates will be shipped by Yellow Freight:

- Very small cardboard boxes, e.g. pocket watches, watch chains, etc.: USPS Postage + Insurance

- Larger cardboard boxes: $25 (to have the item professionally packed) + USPS Postage & Insurance

- Wooden crates, up to, but not including Tall Case clocks (aka Grandfather clocks): $100 (to have the crate built) + USPS Postage & Insurance

- Tall Case Clocks will be shipped by Craters & Freighters. You can calculate postage through their web site at Craters & Freighters.

General Policies:
Terms & Conditions:
All listed items are authentic and as described to the best of our knowledge or unless otherwise stated, and we will do our very best to represent them to you fairly and honestly. Over the years, a tradesman may have made changes to an item, which we may not know about, but we will do our very best to discern these changes and describe the item to you as fairly and accurately as possible. Any item may be returned if the description turns out to be incorrect AND if for this reason the value of this item is significantly lower than the actual purchase price. If it's something that can be seen in the auction picture, it does not qualify as a valid reason for return. All returns must be announced and explained by e-mail within 7 days of receipt. It is sufficient if the buyer informs us within this 7-day period that substantial doubts about a certain item have occurred. Purchaser pays shipping, handling, and insurance for the full purchase price of the item, to have the item returned.

Condition Reports:
Only damages that cannot be seen and obvious restorations are described. Old wear, minor abrasions, normal traces of use and age are very common to antiques, as this is just normal for items in excess of 100 years old. Damages and missing parts which are clearly visible on the pictures are also not described.

Warranty:
We warranty our items for a seven-day period following delivery, to ensure that the item has safely arrived at the purchaser's location and is working well. If anything should happen to your clocks or watches some time in the future, and they should come into disrepair, we can repair them for you. Just email us and let us know what is wrong with the item (pictures help) and what you would like done. We will then do our very best to restore your item to its proper working condition.

General Description:
We do our best to research and certify each item, and to give you the best information and portrayal of each item. We also do our very best to ensure accuracy, but errors occasionally do occur because there are so many different craftsmen, periods, makes, etc. We list the different time periods for clocks, condition terminology for clocks & watches, and additional information on our Home Page to give you a better idea of exactly what you are buying. The pictures are really your best guides and they will certainly say a lot more than the best text. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding, as bidding constitutes your acceptance of having seen the description and pictures, and your agreement with this policy.

Damaged Items:
The incidence of damage in our shipments is very low. However, if your item(s) should arrive damaged, please take the following steps to ensure that we are able to properly help you settle your claim:

1) Send us pictures that show the full extent of the damage to the inside and outside of the packing. Please keep the packing until further notice, as it will need to be inspected by the insurance agency.
CAUTION: If you do not keep your packing materials, your claim will be invalid, as the insurance company needs to see the packing material as proof that the damage occurred.

2) File a damage complaint form at your local Post Office, or through whoever delivered the package to you. The same applies to International orders. Typically, the claim form provides the opportunity to describe what happened to your package, e.g., the damage to the package, the type and condition of the packing material(s), your idea of the reasons for the damage, etc. Once filed, please fax or send us a copy of the report. Our fax number is (806) 214-1019, and our mailing address is; Clocks, Pocket Watches, Etc. P.O. Box 83712 Gaithersburg, MD 20883-3712.

3) Finally, please send us a written quote from a local qualified repair company regarding the repair cost, and the estimated value of the damaged item.

THANKS FOR BIDDING AND GOOD LUCK!!!
