                                                     (130 Years Old!!)

Case: 18 size, Hunter's Case, Coin (0.800%) Silver, the front and the back of the case are very attractively engraved & they are both engraved with the same pattern.

Dial: White, Porcelain, Single Sunk, Roman numerals, and very delicate Spade Hands.

Movement: 15 Jewels, KW/KS, Lever Escapement, Full Nickel (or Silver Plated) Plates.

Professional Opinion:This Pocket Watch was made very early in the Hampden Pocket Watch Company's life, has a Personalized Movement, and is in very good shape, except for some very minimal fading on the case, from usage, and has a weakened spring to open the front of the case. But when you think that this watch is 7 generations old, it allows for a lot of leniency!! This is also a true Classic because it was made so early in the life of the Hampden Watch Company and because of whom it belonged to!!

Lastly, this watch is reported to have been the property of Mr. Henry Weidemann, who was born in Germany and finally settled in Springfield, Mass., where he married Miss Mary Schmaelzle in May, 1884. He also owned his own Brewery that produced 70,000 barrels per year. For more information about Mr. Weidemann's life, click here.
