A 17 Jewel 18 size Illinois Open Faced Pocket Watch

Circa 1902

Cased in a Heavy Sterling Silver (92.5% Silver) Case!

Triple Sunk Dial

Runs Well & Keeps Good Time

A Nice Addition To Any Colllection

Hello, and thank you
for taking the time to look at our listing!

This is a nice clean 18 size Illinois pocket watch with 17 jewels. The case is marked on the back as sterling silver (92.5% pure silver!) and it has a very nice heft to it. Both the front and back plates screw on/off. The time on the watch is lever set and the watch has a very clean dial. There are no nicks, cracks, or anything wrong with this triple sunk dial, except for two very small 'ski tracks' on it. The entire case is in good shape, except for some very minor dings.

This balance wheel on this Illinois Lakeshore movement has very good motion and the watch is keeping very good time! This 104 year old watch is showing its age a bit though. If you look at the winding arbor, you'll see that the finish has worn off down to the brass. So the watch has seen a bit of use, but that not too bad for a watch that over a century old!

Please be sure to look at the pictures at the end of the text to see more shots of this Pocket Watch!!

The price for this piece is $335.00
