Case: The Case is a 16 size, Hunter Case, Coin Silver (80% Pure Silver) marked "A.W. Co." on a Shield on the inside of the back cover. Its a Smooth Case With a Smooth Edge & a extremely unique Screw On Back!! Overall, the case is in very good condition, with no scratches and hardly any scuff marks at all! Its as if the case were Brand New!!

Professional Opinion:  This is a good example of a very old Waltham Hunter's Case Pocket Watch with a very early Stem Wind & Lever Set System!! Also, the Hunter's Case has a screw on back, which is very, very unusual for a Hunters Case, in fact, its the only one that I have ever seen!! This is not a watch to pass on, especially with its unusual screw on back & its very early Stem Wind & Lever Set System!!

Hello, And Thank You
For Taking The Time To Look At Our Listing!

The Dial is still in excellent condition with no hairlines, cracks or other mars that would distract from the perfect look of the dial! It even has Roman Numerals, as you would expect from the older watches. The Cobalt Blue Slender Spade Hands hands are in mint condition! You can even see the Lever that you pull out to set the time by the Numeral IIII. The center of the dial is marked A. W. Co. for American Watch Company.

The inside of the front cover has a swirling pattern, just as the inside of the rear cover has!!

The Hands are Lever Set by the Numeral IIII.

The covers fit together so well, that any space between the covers is almost imperceptible!
All details are sharp & crisp and the case
looks as if it was brand new!!

The Bond Street movement is in as new condition!! The movement is marked: Bond Street; Safety Pinion; A.W. Co., Waltham, Mass. The Balance Wheel has very good action and the watch is running well & keeping good time!!
The front of the case is in excellent condition with hardly any noticeable markings from the last 125 years of its life! As with all of the other parts of the watch, the case is in "As New" condition! Its as if the watch was purchased 125 years ago and then just kept in a drawer for the last 125 years being brought out to wear only on special ocassions!

The back of the case is also in excellent condition, with only a slight dent to mar its great shape! This piece matches the rest of the rest of the watch for being in excellent condition!

The inside of the back of the case is also in excellent condition and has swirling marks, which are easier to see when you have the piece in your own hands. The middle of the back of the case is marked with "A. W. Co." for American Watch Co.

Well, that's all I can say. The Photos will tell you what you really want to know about the watch anyway, at least that's what I focus on first!

The price for this piece is $450.00

This Pocket Watch would make a very nice gift to that special someone, even if that "special someone" is you and your own collection!!
