An Illinois Bunn Special 21 Jewel 60 Hour Pocket Watch Serial#: 5,010,956                        Date: 1927 Case: This is a 16 Size, 10Kt White Gold-Filled, Open Faced Case made by the Star Watch Company! Dial: The Dial is made from White Porcelain, is Double Sunk, has Arabic numerals, Spade hands, and is marked "Illinois". There are no defects to the dial, i.e. NO Hairlines, Chips, Cracks or anything else to mar its beauty! Movement: This 3/4 Nickel Plate movement is a 60 Hour Movement, with 21 Jewels, a Gold Train, Gold Jewel Settings, adjusted to 6 Positions (plus Temperature & Isochronism), a Double Roller, a Steel Escape Wheel & is Lever-Set by the 1:00 position. Professional Opinion: Here you have an excellent Railroad Pocket Watch! It has all the features you would need to say that it's a Railroad Grade Pocket Watch, e.g. the way the balance wheel is moving so swiftly, with all of the Safety Features that you'd expect in Railroad Pocket Watch and with the ability to adjust the timing of the watch so accurately! The watch has been recently cleaned and is keeping excellent time!

Hello, And Thank You For Taking The Time To Look At Our Listing! Just As A Note, The Watch Is Running Fine, Keeping Good Time, And Should Provide Many More Years Of Excellent Service!! This Illinois Bunn Special Railroad Pocket Watch has a Serial # of 5,010,956, which means it was built in 1927. The following information will give you a better idea of the capabilities that this Railroad watch has to perform its daily functions: This beautiful, very clean & very white porcelain dial is double sunk, so the center (where Illinois is clearly spelt out) is actually the middle layer, then the bottom layer would be where the second's bit is. The dial is a truly a Great Dial along with the Spade Hands and is Lever Set by the Numeral 1. The Second's Bit is almost twice the size of the actual size of the watch that you are looking at. So I am being very sure to show you this dial at roughly 25 times its normal size! So you can clearly see any possible flaw and any minor "flaw" that you might see (although there are none to see) in these picts is most likely not even visible by the human eye!! The movement is a 60 Hour Movement, with 21 Ruby Jewels & is Lever-Set by the 1:00 position. The movement is adjusted to Temperature & 6 positions. It has screw down, slightly raised Gold Jewel Settings; a full Gold Train to limit any possible friction; Gold Balance Screws; Double Rollers, which means that the watch has one Impulse Roller Table and a Safety Roller, thus two Rollers or a Double Roller; the movement is built on Nickel Plates; and finally has a Whip Lash Regulator, so the watch can be adjusted extremely accurately! Overall, the movement is truly a thing of beauty & a joy to watch, especially the speed of the balance wheel!! Just a close-up of the movement to further show you what excellent condition it is in! There are no scratches, abrasions, etc. The movement is in Excellent condition and keeps great time! The Balance Wheel has such great speed that it's simply a blur, even at the speed the camera catches it at! Then, just on the inside of the balance wheel, you can see "Double Roller" written out. For a watch to be a true Railroad Grade Pocket Watch, it had to have a Double Roller to ensure that the watch would keep running, in case something happened! The covers fit together so well, that any space between the covers is almost imperceptible! All of the details are sharp & crisp! As is shown in this picture, the case is marked "Star Watch Case Company" & "10 Karat Gold-Filled". The back of the case is in excellent condition and there's hardly even any scuff marks! The case has "Knurled" sides, which show very little wear. In this case the knurled sides are in a slightly decorative pattern and they will allow you to get a better grip when opening & closing the front or the back of the case. Overall, the case is in excellent condition, just as the rest of the watch is!! Well, that's all I can say.
