Just look at the beautifully engraved "Scalloped" case!! Both sides of the case look as if they were just engraved!! What beautiful engravings! Just an overall excellent piece!! A Perfect Dial! No Hairlines, Chips or Cracks & look at the Great way they painted around the word "Elgin"! Just imagine looking at this perfect, Snowy White dial whenever you looked at your watch!! The covers fit together so well, that any space between the covers is almost imperceptible! All details are sharp & crisp! As this is a solid 14Kt case, there will never be any problems with Brass showing through! The watch has not been abused. Take a good look at this beautifully Damaskeened Nickel Movement!! This movement is in Pristine condition! Just a close up view to better show you the beauty of this Movement!! The Balance Wheel is in excellent condition and has a brilliant motion to it!! A well moving Balance Wheel, is always a good sign of a well functioning movement!! The Sentiment on the Dust Cover says: To Billie From Garrret Christmas 1888 Sounds like a Western Christmas, doesn't it?? The back cover of the watch is again just amazingly engraved Scallopped pattern, that looks as if it were done yesterday!!
