Austrian Six Windowed,
Four Dial Vienna Regulator


This Austrian Six Windowed, Four Dial Vienna Regulator is housed in a Rosewood Case with Holly Banding and was made by (Ignatz) Marenzeller as is shown on the dial. The clock has a seven and a half day running duration and tracks the day of week, the day of month, hour, minutes, and seconds. The movement has a knife-edge suspension and a narrow Invar pendulum rod to compensate for any variations in humidity, temperature, etc. and a double-sided brass bob. The 7" silver dial has an engine turned bezel and 3 small inner dials. The clock measures 38 ¾" in height, 10 ½" wide, and 5" deep. Circa 1840.
