Breguet Quarter Hour Repeater
This Quarter hour Repeater was not made by Breguet himself, but by a watch maker working
directly for Breguet. The name on the front of the dial reads Breguet a Paris
and you can also find that name in the "hatch" that opens in the back of the watch
and on the movement. There was originally a pornographic scene in the back where
the lock of hair now resides. So I presume that someone's female companion showed
them the error of their ways - unfortunately. Since the watch is French, it first chimes the hour and
then the quarter hour when the stem is depressed.
