A Very Early Railroad
Lever Fusee Pocket Watch
Circa 1815

This is, without a doubt, the oldest Railroad pocket watch that I have ever seen. It was made by Joseph Johnson circa 1825 and has his name, address, and number of the watch at the top of the dial. Underneath that is "Railway Quick" and "Timekeepers Beat". The watch has 15 "Window" jewels.
