"Windowed" Pocket Watch
Circa 1800


This lever fusee was made by Joseph Johnson in Liverpool, England circa 1800. The watch is called "Windowed" because it has very large jewels which are called "Windows" due to their large size. The watch is housed in an engraved 18Kt case and has a "Bulls Eye" crystal.
