Japy Freres Brass Inlayed Case
With An Alabaster Dial


This Japy Freres clock is spring wound with an 8 ½" alabaster dial with blue roman numbers set on porcelain and on then on Gilt pieces. The clock won a gold medal in 1823 and measures 23 ¾" in height, 12 ¾" in width, and 5 ½" deep and has a fancy brass bob with an "R-A" porcelain center. The Rosewood case has intricate brass inlay and the door is inlaid with brass strips. The bezel is brass as well. "Rrin Clock Company" #222 made the clock.
