30-Day Vienna Regulator - Circa 1870
This 30-day Vienna Regulator was made by Franz Schondorfer circa 1870 or in the Altdeutsch Period.
The case is made from Hand Carved Walnut and the engraving on the weight matches
the engraving on the pendulum bob. The clock has a dead beat escapement and
maintining power. The case is truly a work of art with the
detail in the carvings and the beautiful grain of the wood. The clock is 68 ½"
in height by 24" wide by 10 ¼: deep. Clocks of this magnitude are becoming
extremely hard to find.
