Lenzkirch Open Well Tall Case Clock
The Lenzkirch Clock Company made this Open Well Tall Case clock. The clock's
dial and weights are made from brass, and the case is adorned with many brass
spandrels and other brass ornamentation. The clock strikes the hour and half
hours on two very heavy coiled gongs, which gives the clock a very deep and
resonating sound. There is also an exceptional pendulum bob that is
visible at the bottom of the open well. The clock is key locked at the dial
area and has panels on either side of the movement and at the bottom of the
clock that open. The clock is in excellent condition and stands 83" tall by
23 ¼" wide by 12" deep.
