Quail Miniature

This single weight miniature eight day clock was made by Karl Schronberger circa 1875. The clock has a one piece 3 ¼" porcelain dial and silver pie crust bezel. This miniature has a wooden pendulum stick, a brass bob and weight. The clock's door is very heavily carved walnut with a quail on top in front of rail fence and flowers on the ground coming down the sides of the door. The bottom of door has more carvings and a nest with eggs. The clock is 28" by 9" by 4 ¼". Its a very unusual and rare clock - and is in mint condition.
