Two-Weight Hand Carved Serpentine Clock Circa 1870
This beautiful case is made from very deeply Hand Carved Walnut. The top of the
clock is adorned with leaves at the top and with a Rose that stands out in the
middle of the arch. The rose and leaf carvings continue down the sides along
the dial that is engraved to exactly match the flower engravings on the weights
and bob. The case has the beautiful Serpentine curves and the door actually
curves outwards and the original glass even has a slightly greenish tint to it,
attesting to its originality. The clock is finished off with more beautifully
carved leaves and roses. The case measures 48" in height, 14 ¼" wide, and 6"
deep.
