Verge Fusee by Samson - Circa 1770
This fusee was made in London and comes in a Pair Case with extensive Repousee
work of the Settlers first coming over to America. The scene is also encircled
by many other adornments. Besides the beautiful work on the movement, the most
astounding part of this watch is the immaculate beauty of the dial. The dial
has a hand painted farm scene depicting a house with trees and stables and in
front of all of this, is a Horse being chased by a Dog. The detail is still in
perfect condition. The watch also has gold hands.
