Year running Lanterndluhr
by Ignatz Marenzeller - Circa 1860

Laterndl-Uhr means "small Lantern" clock. This year running Lanterndluhr was made by Ignatz Marenzeller in Wien, Austria. The nine windowed case has holly banding and measures 49" in height by 11.25" wide by 5.5" in depth. The dial is reversed painted glass and has a true seconds bit. The hands were hand cut and are perfectly balanced to insure the least possible torque on the movement.
